COURSE RATING

Somerset Golf Union lead officer for Course rating is James Skinner,  Executive Committee and member of Worlebury Golf Club. James and his team work throughout the year to ensure all all SGU affiliated clubs are rated in accordance with the World Handicap System rules.

All courses are re-rated at least every 10 years, and any significant course changes must be assessed to establish if a new rating is required. The team is also available to advise on Par and Stroke Index allocations.
