The Championship shall be stroke play over 18 holes. The winner shall be the player who returns the lowest scratch score. A prize will be awarded to the player with the best nett score. A maximum of 63 players will be eligible to compete. Maximum handicap index of 24.4 or below which is valid at the point at which the start sheet is published.. Players may withdraw from the competition before the closing date. After the closing date entry fees will not be refunded unless a replacement is found. If scores are tied the Championship will be decided by playoff, providing conditions allow, if not by countback. The Championship Committee's decision is final. The Champion golfer (Gross) can go forward to represent Somerset in the EG National Seniors Champion on Champions Tournament.
