The Championship shall be stroke play over 18 holes. The winner shall be the player who returns the lowest scratch score over 18 holes. A prize will be awarded to the player with the best nett score. A maximum of 60 players will be eligible to compete. Maximum handicap of 24 or below which is valid at the date of the competition under the rules of the CONGU Unified Handicapping. Players may withdraw from the competition before the closing date. After the closing date entry fees will not be refunded unless a replacement is found. The County Champion will be the player who returns the lowest gross score. If scores are tied the Championship will be decided by playoff. The Champion golfer can go forward to represent Somerset in the EG National Seniors Champion on Champions Tournament.
